As a supplier, we have feeling you’re asked plenty of questions about our product yourself. So we decided to help you find the basic answers to:
How does it work? The electronic D’MAND Kontrols® system works in existing homes on command by wireless/wired activation buttons, motion sensors, voice-activation and flow switches. Easy to install, the system connects at or under the most distinct fixture from the water heater to get hot water to any point of the home right away.[i] Our product is all about providing luxury convenience, maximizing savings, and promoting sustainable living for the homeowner.

What else would I, as a supplier, want to know about this system?
Here’s some basics (but still go ahead and call 800-200-1956 if you want request more data or specific information—we’ve got tons of it!):
- System’s life expectancy: 15-20 years
- Immediate hot water by either a motion sensor or button touch
- Made in America and distributing internationally for over 23 years
- Listed in National Codes and Compliances for new construction to meet new water and energy requirements
- Geothermal systems don’t depreciate in value! (In fact, the system adds value to the home—they’re more likely to get a return on the investment)
[i]Need a more technical explanation? Here you go: Once activated by the user using the existing hot and cold water lines, the system rapidly displaces ambient temperature water through the cold water line to the water heater. Once the hot water has reached the fixture, the sensor closes the valve and turns off the pump, not allowing hot water to enter the cold water line. On new home construction (Structured Plumbing®) the D’mand system is located at the water heater on a dedicated hot water return line. When hot water is demanded by the user, the demand system cycles hot water rapidly and shuts down on a delta-T rise of temperature.
