The D'MAND Kontrols Systems® have both commercial and residential applications.
Residential
Typical residential applications cost less than $1.00 per year to operate. They can be activatedby any combination of methods, and result in a savings of energy and water, a decrease in pollution, and an increase in convenience to the user.
The C3-100models are designed for most homes using tank water heaters where the square footage is less than 4000 sqft. For Tankless water heaters with pipe runs up to 60 lineal feet in a standard plumbed home, or up to 120 total lineal feet when using a dedicated return line, see chart below. Warranty: 5 years
The S3-100models are designed for most homes using tank water heaters where the square footage is less than 4000 sqft. For Tankless water heaters with pipe runs up to 100 lineal feet in a standard plumbed home, or up to 200 total lineal feet when using a dedicated return line, see chart below. Warranty: 5 years
The BR3-200 models are designed for most homes using tank water heaters where the square footage is over 4000 sqft. For Tankless water heaters with pipe runs over 100 lineal feet in a standard plumbed home, or over 200 total lineal feet when using a dedicated return line, see chart below. Warranty: 5 years

Commercial
The D'MAND Kontrol Systems® are often installed for industrial and commercial applications such as restaurants, hospitals, day-care centers, government buildings etc. In those cases, automatic activationis most often used. These larger, more powerful models are designed for high performance and low cost and are intended for use with re-circulating dedicated hot water return lines.
