D’MAND Kontrol® Hot Water Recirculation Pump system works by circulating ambient (cool) temperature water that normally goes down the drain back to the water heater through the cold water line. When on-demand pumps were substituted for timer pumps, wasted water was reduced 87% and wasted energy was reduced by 65%.
