The
video on this
page was filmed
by a public
broadcasting network
in San Antonio,
Texas, and broadcast
on a local San
Antonio TV show
called The
Home & Lifestyle
Show. The
individual that
is describing
the D’MAND® Systems
is Eddie Wilcut.
He is the Water
Resources and Conservation
Planner for the
City of San Antonio
Water Systems known
as SAWS.
The
City of San
Antonio is
offering a
$150.00
rebate only
on D’MAND
Pumping Systems.
The reason
is that D’MAND
Pumping Systems
are the only hot water distribution systems that
have been
tested
and approved by the United States Department of
Energy to save both water and energy for both existing
homes
and new homes. Any other systems that operate on
timers are not energy efficient and can be costly
to the homeowner.
There
are two manufacturers
of D’MAND® Pumping
Systems:
- ACT,
Inc.
Metlund
Systems
(that's
where you
are now)
- Taco
Pump
Co.
The
video lasts
about six minutes
and is divided
into two parts:
- Installation
- How
the system
works in
the
home.
Water
has become
a critical
issue for
cities, water agencies and in general,
the consumer.
Preventing
running water from being wasted
down the
drain while
waiting
to get hot water will save on sewage
as well as will reduce the air
pollution.
The
City
of
San
Antonio
is
interested
in saving both water and energy.
This is the
reason they
only rebate
D’MAND Pumping Systems.
For more information on this
rebate you can
go to the SAWS
website.
Or
you can call SAWS direct at
210-704-7531 to inquire about
the program.
