Gary Klein, a researcher and developer from the California
Energy Commission who recently completed a case study on the
Metlund D'MAND System, installed the system in his own home
in less that two hours. "It's an easy retrofit, especially
now that it has been made modular. With the compression fittings,
there's no soldering required. The only tools you need are
an adjustable wrench, a screwdriver, and an electric drill
(for installing the push button)."
